This is an estate find International Harvester Company LB Engine. It is 1&1/2 2&1/2 Hp @ 300 & 500 RPM. It is offered for parts or restoration. It is not a running engine.  This is what I know about the engine. It turns & has compression.  It has spark. It will suck fuel into the mixer. Occasionally, it will fire off, but does not continue to run. It was set up in a cement mixer & replaced a stover engine. Therefore, It has a chain gear on the drive shaft. Not a pulley. Gas tank has repairs made & looks to be a reusable tank with additional work needed. Missing the filler cap. Missing the valve cover & cover wing nut. Missing original fuel line to gas tank. Missing nuts & bolts to connect gas tank to engine & base. I believe this is a good engine that should run with a minimum of effort & investment. I do not think this is a hit & miss engine. I think this is called Governor Throttle Engine. I do not have the time or the ambition to make it run myself, as I have more important projects.This is a sold as is item. No warranty, No Refunds & No Returns. This is a local pick up item in NJ 08801. I do not believe it would be cost effective to ship this item. This is a heavy dead weight engine. If a buyer wants to figure shipping, or get quote. Fastenal Flemington NJ 08822. I will drop it off at buyers request only. It is possible not all the facts are listed herein , this is a parts & or restoration project engine. Ask questions if necessary or interested. 
“This engine is in non working condition. Parts missing. IE: Water hopper cover, Valve cover & cover wing nut,Fuel Line to gas tank from mixer carburetor , Gas tank cap. Nuts & bolts to attach gas tank to engine frame. May be missing additional parts. Gas tank has surface rust, has a few silver solder repairs made. No Muffler.Condition of repairs unknown.”
