ParticleScan® Pro Advanced particle-counting precision for air quality professionals. Overview The IQAir ParticleScan Pro is a professional, advanced, handheld laser particle counter designed for use by indoor air quality specialists to diagnose air-quality problems and to verify solutions. The ParticleScan Pro is easy to use, reliable, exceptionally accurate and includes features such as multi-mode counting that make it superior to conventional particle counters. The ParticleScan Pro features six channels that make it convenient to count particles of multiple sizes at the same time. An advanced display panel allows viewing particle counts in either cumulative or differential modes. The ParticleScan Pro’s 0.025 cfm flow rate is deliberately slower than conventional particle counters and drastically reduces coincidence loss at higher particle concentrations. The result is a much more accurate particle count, especially in polluted urban environments where particle counts exceed 2 million particles per cubic foot. Applications The ParticleScan Pro enables IAQ professionals to provide meaningful information to customers regarding efficiency, pollution sources, filter leakage and other IAQ issues. It is ideal for particle source investigations and for evaluating air-cleaning performance. Monitor indoor and outdoor particle concentrations The ParticleScan Pro features a substantially slower airflow rate than conventional particle scanners, allowing greater accuracy in typical indoor and outdoor environments. Automated logging of particle concentrations The USB interface of the ParticleScan Pro makes it easy to download and log data so you can focus on tracking and evaluating air quality problems. Track particulate pollution sources The ParticleScan Pro automatically refreshes data readings every six seconds, allowing you to monitor particle concentration changes as they occur and where they occur. Spot-check particulate pollution levels at the workplace The ParticleScan Pro is completely portable, and operates for up to 4 hours from its continuously rechargeable NiMH battery pack. The scanner and accessories fit in a polypropylene carrying case for superior protection in the field. Show efficiency of air filters, air cleaners, and vacuum cleaners The ParticleScan Pro is handheld and includes an isokinetic probe that makes it easy to take readings at the air intake and air outlet of a filtration system. It is still a current model,so the features and technology are the same as brand new.It has been well taking care of and it's primary use was testing air purifiers and vacuum cleaner dust emissions.It is in perfect condition and showing almost no signs of use or wear It has never has never been re-calibrated but manufacture suggests to do yearly. Also it still has the original battery.If needed,both can be done by sending to the manufacturer.The cost is $78.00 for a new battery and $150.00 to recalibrate.It has everything that came when originally purchased.This includes the software,instruction manual,calibration certificate,and carrying or storage case.This model new sells for $3095.00,and other types are priced for even higher.
