For auction here very cheaply - after all these printers new were around U.S.$60,000. Scitex Iris technology was the only way to produce high resolution continuous tone prints - especially skin tones - for many years - and maybe the only inkjet technology to have done it from four colours. On auction here is a package of 3 Iris Realist 5030 wide format printers / proofers - though one is actually rebadged as an Imation 4700XL - all 3 machines are the same design and construction - ie. same pcb's, stepper motors, waste modules, ink pumps, heads and magazines etc. Various Iris manuals and Iris software printer drivers/controllers are also included. One Iris machine has ink, it was last working recently and should run, the other 2 require parts and repair. Some parts are available and included in auction ie PCB's, ink pumps, waste modules.
