This is a reproduction of a Fay and Egan Quadrant style miter gauge.  It was reproduced in aluminum from a professionally made wooden pattern and recast at cattail foundry in PA.  The new casting was then professionally machined to make the bottom and front face perpendicular and the knobs were recreated and are pictured above.  I had two of these made and one was tested on a Fay and Egan 511b slider with excellent results.  Please take a close look at the photos and ask whatever questions you like. The last two photos are of the pattern and the original fence. You can see that we filled in the base of the fence.  This is to add strength to the design in case it was dropped.
