Jacobs Super Chuck 14 with a #3 Morse Taper (Large end 0.7000, Small end 0.5720 and the Length is 2.56) It  opens from 0 to 1/2"   Most 14's carry letters after the 14 and are from a later date. This chuck was patented September 16, 1902 again on January 26, 1909 and once more on January 5, 1915. Besides being a well working chuck, this one is also a collectors item because of the patent dates. If you are looking a pictures of old chucks, it will be hard to find one with the dual knurled bands for hand adjustment. Plus this one has the original key. The chuck was purchased in the early 20's. In 1959 or 60, I etched my name between the bands when I bought it from the original owner. See the pictures. I think it can be polished out, but did not want to try.
