Rare James G. Biddle Co. Motor and Phase Rotation Tester Model 1 Serial number: 1515 Biddle Motor and Phase Rotation Tester Model 1. Varnished oak case, with hinged lid, and leather carrying handle, houses black bakelite control panel with selector switch, test button, and indicator dial; has compartments for black and red cables leading from test mechanism. Printed operating instructions inside lid. Control panel marked with product name Motor & Phase Rotation Tester; maker name James G. Biddle Co., Philadelphia. Serial number 1515 Manufactured in the mid 1950s.  The case looks like it spent some time riding around in a service truck however the inside looks like it has hardly been used. Test leads are all clearly and cleanly marked with white label tags. The red leads are all in excellent shape and still soft and pliable. The black leads look great but the wire insulation shows signs of being hard and brittle.
