The Kady Mills equipment is a high speed rotor-stator dispersion mill with a tank and dispersion head assembly made entirely of stainless steel. The tank is equipped with a water jacket to control the heat generated by the stator/rotor shearing and dispersing process. Cooling water regulator and gauging are plumbed directly into the mill for ease of use with chilled water process piping or a municipal water supply. The mill comes with an OEM component assembly blueprint, as well as set up and maintenance guides. Packaging includes steel banding and stretch wrapping to a 36вЂќ x 48вЂќ skid with a total packaged height of 72вЂќ. The KADY dispersion mill is equipped with a stainless steel stator/rotor dispersion head assembly that includes a spare rotor/stator assembly with a 4вЂќ diameter rotor with 8,500 RPM rotor speed, as well as a spare stator ring and stirring propeller. The tank also has a ball valve tank drain that is easily disassembled for thorough cleaning. This product is manufactured in the USA and has a 10 gallon tank capacity with a heavy-duty belt driven rotor/stator assembly driven by a 30 hp AC motor. The unique KADY rotor/stator design and powerful drive motor eliminates the need for multiple media passes. The motor drive is a 30 HP, Lincoln Electric (Hostile Duty) with a service factor (SF) of 125 and the Cutler-Hammer motor starter is rated at 45 amperes. The rotor/stator spindle has an integral continuous flow bearing lubrication with belt tension adjustment mechanism connected directly to the drive motor mounting pad. The stainless steel media/slurry tank has a manual top-loading/bottom-draining design and a cooling water jacket with a water pressure gauge. This product is heavy, with an estimated packaged weight of 750 lbs, and has an irregular, unbalanced weight. The mill is available for inspection and pick-up at the sellerвЂ™s Fairfax, VA location.
