We have available a KBA - Planeta Varimat 64 inch sheetfed large format offset press. Serial # is 293911 and the Model # VL 98 SW1. This is 8 1/2 units (8 color plus coating) with a factory extension and Fuji console. This is a very large commercial printing press that was used to print labels for large accounts like Kraft, Campbell's soup, Kleenex etc and can be used for many types of printing. The press was partially disassembled for transport, when the previous large corporate owner decided not to use it and shut down the plant. Most of the parts are still on site. Many covers/motors/rollers/ electric power supply, feeder, finisher etc on site. There are about 40 pallets of rollers and parts still on site. Rollers were most likely not stored properly. We believe this press was manufactured around 1990 in Germany and used until 2008. The parts should have a lot of life left in them. In case you cant tell from this pictures, this press is very large about 8-10 feet wide and up to 80 feet long when fully assembled. It includes the full catwalk, the side cover panels, feeders, and about 30 pallets of rollers/ parts already removed. This press will need to be reassembled and refurbished to operate. Many parts are missing, including but not limited to 2 main impact cylinder, parts of the feeder, electrical components in the console, etc. There most likely are more items missing. What you see in the pictures is what you get. There are still lots of good parts here, but this should be considered a scrap machine. All items of the press must be removed within 60 days. Pick-up only! Any shipping is the responsibility of buyer. We have a forklift and loading dock and can try to help.
