Starts and runs excellent, Low hours for a Kubota diesel engine and this one has had a home owner life not used for commercial use. Garage kept and looks and runs very good. Nothing like a 4x4 for loader chores and other chores around your property. The Kubota LA853 loader is in great condition and the loader bucket although you can not see in the pics because of the snow has a good straight cutting edge and operates smooth and was the heavier duty loader that was offered by Kubota for the L4630. Nothing like HP for a tractor and with almost 50 hp you will have all you need for all your chores. The GST hyd shuttle trans is a great trans and can be shifted forward to reverse without using the foot clutch and shifted 1 thru 12 without using the clutch to go up or down thru the gears. Great trans for loader work or field chores, give you the feel of a gear for going up and down hills and not changing speeds like a hydro tractor will. And if you put some one in the seat and tell them to run 6th gear to mow a field the tractor goes the same speed all day not like a hydro that usually the operator ends up with the pedal pushed all the way down and going to fast. The GST also gives to a more power full feel because you do not loose HP like a hydro tractor. Very easy tractor to operate and with the power steering, hyd shuttle trans and single lever loader control you will look like a pro. Easy to get in and out of the cab with left and right doors, rear windows that open. These Kubota factory cabs are nothing like the aftermarket cabs you put on a tractor, they are quiet, no vibration and with heat, defrost and A/C just a great option. Expensive one also, over $7000 factory option from Kubota, but worth it with the weather we have right now. But even in the hot summer time you will appreciate the cab for dust, pollen and the A/C. This Kubota Grand L4630 starts and runs good and will be great tractor for a very long time. These Kubota Grand L series tractors are built to last and I have seen many with well over 7 and 8000 hours still running good. This is not a little air cooled gas engine like your lawn mower that when they get to 700 hours they are shot. This Has a Kubota water cooled diesel engine and built like the engines in big trucks and construction equipment. In fact Kubota sells a lot of its engines for construction equipment because fuel economy, long life and easy starting. Big difference between a Kubota Grand L and the standard L series that Kubota offers. The standard L series are the economy tractors and good units but nothing like a Grand L series. Usually about $5000 more for a Grand L over the standard L. Everything from better hyd, better trans, nicer operators platforms, easier for service, heavier duty loader and buckets and much more.
