Tired of hurting your back changing out your mill vise? Use our De-Vise to get a two man balanced lift and make changing it cleaner safer and less risk of damage to you or the machinery. The unit has SHCS to lock it into the Kurt 6 in and 8 in vises. It can also be used on other brands by removing them. Visit our web site de-vise.net for more info and videos showing it in action. A 6" vise weighs about 70 lbs, with a swivel base its close to 100 lbs. The 8" Kurt II weighs 170 lbs, with a swivel base its close to 250 lbs. They are usually rusty, oily, covered with slivers and chips and or all of the above. If you have a lift or crane,there is an eye bolt located at the center of gravity so it lifts straight up.
