Note: L157 is my inventory control # only. I plan to list over 500 pieces of assorted lab glassware in all styles ranging from 1ml to 4000ml in size as I get free time. This listing is for (1) very lightly used (looks new) Fisher Scientific # 5-848 fixed position hosecock shutoff/clamp kit. Basically it it a temporary hose clamp to shut the flow or restrict the flow of liquids or gases off through a hose or tubing. It can be used in the hand, or used with or without its screwed down base. These have many uses in the lab and also around the shop and in the field for maintenance applications. The hose can be fed through the gate area or also the edge of the tool has a knurled screw where you can release just one end and use it on a existing inline hose connection without having to disconnect the hose to get the clamp around it. It is made from Stainless Steel for long life and corrosion resistance. Last photo shows a piece of Tygon tubing clamped with it. Capacity of the clamping area is 23.8mm wide x 17.6omm high. This kit includes: Hosecock assembly mounting flange 2 mounting screws + 1 extra screw in case you need one. original packaging.
