This former Starbucks La Marzocco 4-Group Linea has been fully rebuilt and upgraded to function as good as or better than new. The machine pictured is the machine you get. This machine has been stripped down to its frame and rebuilt from the ground up. All three boilers and any other components that comes in contact with water has been descaled and pressure washed in the process of the rebuild. Every gasket, seal, o-ring, safety valve, high limit switch, solenoid, etc. is new. We rebuild each group individually to ensure the best functionality. Additionally, we retrofit all of groups with stainless steel flow restrictors (0.6mm orifice gicleur). This improves pre-infusion and allows you to brew shots comparable to today's double boiler machines like the Synesso. For the utmost in temperature stability, the machine has been retrofitted with PIDs to digitally control the temperatures of both brew boilers independently. Having two brew boilers with separate temperature setpoints, gives you the flexibility of brewing at two different temperatures from the same machine. You also have the option of shutting off one or both boilers with a flick of a switch if you choose to do so. Once the machine gets to operating conditions, brew temperatures fluctuate at an average of only 1°F while in operation. Another nice upgrade on this Linea is the Cronos touchpads that displays your extraction times in addition to allowing you to pre-program your dosing volumes. And because every espresso machine needs to look just as good as it brews, the panels of this Linea have been refinished and polished.
