Direct Reading grade rods offer a moveable tape face that allows construction or surveying professionals to set the actual benchmark elevation, or any elevation, into their grade rod. This invaluable feature reduces the risk of making adding or subtracting errors and speeds up the whole process of taking measurements. One-Sided with Button Locks This 10-foot grade rod is one-sided with graduations in tenths of inches. Secure your desired length with button locks and an internal brake slide. Extend your grade rod to 10 feet and 1.75 inches or collapse it to 5 feet and 10.5 inches. Direct Reading Laser Leveling Rod The GR1000T is designed specifically for use with a laser detector. This leveling rod features a special detector rail and bracket that lets you attach a laser detector to the leveling rod and adjust the laser detector up or down the entire length of the grade rod. With this you no longer have to worry about repeatedly loosening the laser detector, moving it, and tightening it in a new location. Tough, Lightweight, Versatile Construction The black detector rail is also UV stabilized. This means that the quality of your detector rail will not decline with regular use even in direct exposure to sunlight and ultraviolet rays. The measuring tape is made of a heavy-duty, matte texture that prevents your numbers from fading, but is also easy on the eyes in bright sunlight. And the grade rod itself is constructed of rugged, lightweight aluminum that resists rusting, splintering, swelling, and warping in any environment. You will also appreciate the added protection of parts made of DuPont nylon, the same material used in skis and motorcycles.
