This device plugs into the PC50 and adds fingerprint recognition to virtually eliminate buddy punching. Buddy punching occurs when employees mistakenly (or intentionally) clock each other in at the wrong time. Buddy punching is a leading cause of inflated payroll costs for small businesses. With the finger sensor, badges are eliminated and employees simply place their finger on the sensor to clock in. The system immediately recognized their identity and registers their in or out punch.
