Leitz Laborlux Microscope 20W LED Illuminator Retrofit Dimmer PS USA/EU Leitz Laborlux LED Illuminator Retrofit 20W Cool White with Dimmer Control and power supply for United States(115V) or Europe Union (220V) - your selection. Designed to substitute the back illuminator of Leitz Microscopes this device will be mounted using the existing threaded M4 holes from the back of the scope. Mounting screws are included. Compatible with Leitz Laborlux 12, Laborlux D, Laborlux K, Laborlux S and other Leitz Laborlux microscopes built in 70’s years and after – only units with back illuminator, featuring a gray/white color – will not work with earlier black enamel color Leitz microscopes. This assembly is built entirely from aluminum/stainless steel Note* Most of the electricity in an LED becomes heat rather than light (about 70% heat and 30% light) In order to dissipate the heat this device is built with a generous amount of metal and with a size required by its function. Overall Dimensions Approx. 73.5mm X 84mm X 135mm. Please notice, this assembly is designed to bypass the original Leitz illumination system. Included in this auction: - Microscope illuminator ( 20W LED 1600 Lumen w/50000 hour of usage) White Color light, built entirely from aluminum and stainless steel. - 12V Power supply adapter (USA or EU- please select) - Dimmer Controller 8A integrated in the main illuminator body. - Mounting screws M4 matching the existing threaded holes in the back of the microscope. - Two Spacers – see Note**. Assembly: 1 - If the area is clear please put the mounting plate in place using the supplied M4 bolts. (Discard the attached M4 nuts) 2- Mount the illuminator using the M4 bolts placed in the illuminator body and M4 threaded holes on the mounting plate. (Discard the attached M4 nuts) Note**: If there are any existing lenses placed at the back of the scope - usually a transparent flat lens or an opacity lens – please use the supplied spacers to avoid the collimator to crush in to this lenses. Discard the M4 nuts they only keep in place the mounting bolts during shipping and handling before mounting. Assembly time – less than 5 minutes. This item is complete all you need is to plug it in a 115V(USA) or 220V(EU and others) power source. Important: At the end of the auction please tell us what adapter you need (USA or EU) .
