Its been very well maintained and is in normal, serviceable condition. The machines are strong, reliable and designed for the job—you can easily pour out donuts from sunrise to sundown. For some reason, sellers of the machines are shy about the donut count. They shouldn’t be, selling tons of donuts is fun and prideful. Do the math: This machine count: 147,000 Minus 2% for samples and wastage -2,940 Net donuts sold 144,000 144,000/12 = 12,000 dozen. 12,000 dozen times $3.00/dozen = $36,000 has already been made with this machine. Wouldn’t you like to make the next $36,000? My numbers are my own. You might sell for a different price or have different costs. I can tell you that the cost of making the donuts (mix, oil) is about 10% of the retail price, so my gross profit was about $32,000. And from that you subtract rent, bags, cost of helpers, permits, if any. But yes, if you are worried about whether or not these machines really work and make money, the answer is yes. Buyers are overly concerned what they might pay for a Lil Orbits machine but the real worry is finding the right location and creating the right strategy to make money from the first day. Don’t worry about the machine, worry about the plan. Success in this is 95% planning and 5% execution, not the other way around. Think, plan, and get your ducks in a row. If you need a business or health licence, go get that. Find the location you want and make your rental deal. If you are going to be mobile figure out your route, transportation, storage and security.
