This is a new item that has never been installed or energized (other than to test it), These are designed to actuate smaller HVAC dampers and are also great for gadgeteers that are looking for a slow acting linear actuator for some type of light mechanical action that has low mechanical resistance, I do not have any information on these from the company that manufactured them, however I thoroughly tested them to assure proper operation and to determine all of the specific current and voltage requirements for this actuator, the tests performed were done with the following meters, under the following conditions: temperature readings were done with a fieldpiece SC77 meter, the voltage and current readings were obtained with a fieldpiece SC66 inductive clamp/meter, the ambient temperature was 70 degrees, the length of the test was 20 minutes to simulate the average real time cycle length (for HVAC dampers) and to assure that the actuator coil was at full operating temperature also a 10va/24v sec/120v pri. transformer was used and it handled the load nicely, all of the readings were as follows: Voltage required=24v a.c., Voltage actually applied=28.7V no load / 26.6V full load with coil at peak temperature, peak current=1.24amps, full load current=.200 amp / 200 milliamps @ peak coil temperature, peak coil temperature=239.6F degrees, time delay to full extension=30 sec., Time delay to full retraction from peak coil temperature=3 min. / 180 sec., **Lower ambient temperature will shorten retraction delay also if coil has not achieved peak temperature, the delay will also be shorter.** Stroke=.600", shaft dia.=.216", body/cylinder dimensions: Length=3.299", diameter=.564", Diameter of crimp joint in center of body/cylinder=.809", length of mount clip=1.245", Full extended length from tip of shaft eyelet to back of body/cylinder=4.905", full retracted length between same points of measurement=4.305", shaft mount eyelet I.D.=.189". there is a spring on the end of the shaft between the solid shaft and the mount eyelet to help eliminate any potential binding problems, the length of the spring is .600", the diameter of the spring is= .271", the electrical connection for this actuator is a 2 pin moulded plug (non-polarized) with a 2 wire pigtail.
