Here's a little tool I use all the time and would hate to ever be without!  If you are tired of the aggravation and sore fingers that come with fighting to remove lock "C" clips, this handy little tool may be the answer.  It pushes both sides of the clip more squarely than any other tool I've used, which keeps the clip from constantly spinning.  It's sold by Schlage for use with their Dexter product line, but I use it with the Schlage knob and lever cylinders as well as Yale Residential and several other brands.  It's made of much heavier gauge steel then the Kwikset cylinder removal tool.  I've used the same one for over 5 years without needing to replace it due to wear like everything else I've tried.
