This unit feeds a regulated amount of dry product via twin feeder screws driven by a variable speed DC motor. Different screws can be installed for different feed rates and different products. We tested the feeder with a DC controller we had and the feeder sounded good and operated well. This unit will require a 1/6 HP DC motor speed controller which is not included. The scale controller/readout is not included. Both screws have slight bends.
