DESCRIPTION: Up for auction is this lot of 100 vintage used machinist square metal cutting bits. We have including many photos for viewing. We are not machinist tool experts. We purchased the contents of a garage and these machinist bits were in an old wooden machinist tool box/chest. We decided to make several lots up and list them here on eBay for your consideration. We believe these are square metal cutting or cutter bits, maybe for a lathe. Some of the marks on them include Carboloy, Red Sabre, Red Tiger, Morse, Bethlehem, Rex,Ludlum etc. Some are very short pieces. Some look very used or odd shaped. Lengths range from 4 1/4" down to 3/4". Total weight is approx. 7.8 lbs. (pounds). If you need any measurements or additional photos please feel free to ask before bidding. CONDITION REPORT: Pre-owned used items. These bits etc were found in an old wooden machinist tool chest. All appear to have been used/sharpened. Conditions vary. Some are very shorts pieces.
