Up for sale are: 10 each of 1/2 grounded set screw bushings. These bushings are "new" and never used. I used to be an electrician and I purchased these for my truck stock. I believe that these are Appleton fittings.  However, they also look to be the same as the Raco fitting per the Grainger catalog P/N: 3LN49 page 556 PDF catalog. These bushings are used for terminating 1/2 threaded conduit.  The 1/2 conduit may be threaded or may be 1/2 emt with threaded fitting insert into electrical box. One purpose of this bushing is to insure continuous grounding along a conduit raceway by providing a set screw that pierces the sidewall of the conduit thread as it secures the ground wire from within the conduit raceway. Another purpose is to insure the proper grounding at the end of the conduit run where it terminates. If you are an electrician then you probably have seen a long run of emt separated as a result of a loose emt fitting.  The emt "hangs" and the black and white wire becomes the support for the emt. Well, guess what?  There is no ground at the termination and the rest of the emt raceway is no longer grounded. These fittings (one at each end) of the emt run can increase the chances of raceway grounding and secure ground at the end of the emt run. Anyway, I am no longer an electrician and that is the reason for offering this lot of 10 for sale. I can put these in a small prority box for shipping which is a flat rate of $ 6.85. Thanks
