Lot of 10 FARMING BOOKS~Antique Up for bid is.... A lot of 10 old farming books printed between 1896 and 1946, as shown in the auction photos and listed below. Each of these is filled with tons of great old photos and other illustrations. They range in Acceptable to Very Good Condition as indicated below: (1) Fourteenth Annual Report of the Illinois Farmers' Institute with Report of County Farmers' Institutes for the Year Ending June 30, 1909. Published in 1909. Good Condition: Pages are generally in very nice condition but two pages have significant crease and one page has a significant tear. (2) Breeds of Livestock in America, 1946. Acceptable Condition: Binding is cracked inside front cover. Pages are in very nice condition. (3) Agriculture: A Text for the School and the Farm, 1915. Good+ condition. (4) Elementary Principles of Agriculture: A Text Book for the Common Schools, 1908, 1915. Good Condition. (5) Dairy Enterprises, 1930, 1936. Good Condition. (6) Farm Management and Marketing, 1936. Very Good Condition. (7) Farm Projects and Problems for Elementary Schools, 1927. Good Condition. (8) Livestock Enterprises, 1928. Acceptable Condition: Front inside hinge is cracked but holding. There are notations and underlining, etc. on several pages and scribbling on a few pages. Most pages are in good condition, though. (9) Yearbook of the United States Department of Agriculture: 1911. Published in 1912. Very Good Condition. (10) Yearbook of the United States Department of Agriculture: 1895. Published in 1896. Good Condition. Very Good- : Condition will be Very Good except for the following possible exceptions: May have very slight page yellowing. May have minor markings on 2 or 3 pages. May have slight edge wear on the cover or small tears on the dust jacket. Good: Has significant wear but nothing serious. The pages will be generally in nice condition. They may have light to moderate page yellowing. May have minor highlighting, underlining or writing on less than 10 pages (but nothing that makes the book difficult to read). The binding will be tight. The cover may have some light to moderate edge or surface wear. May have some light to moderate creasing. May be missing dust jacket or the dust jacket may even be in very poor condition. Good- : May have highlighting, underlining or writing on 10 pages or more but the markings will be neat and generally brief. The binding may be a little weak or the book a little bent but the book will be in nice shape otherwise. The cover may have some small tears or heavy creasing. Acceptable: Has some serious wear but is still readable and all parts of the book will be useable. There will be no missing pages unless clearly noted.
