Lot of 5 -National Semi LM2940CT-5.0 ~ 5 Volt 1A Low Dropout Regulator Free Shipping!    This auction is for a lot of 5 new LM2940CT-5.0 1 Amp voltage regulators. These are new (NOS) and have been stored in the antistatic tube in a really nifty antistatic bubblepack zip lock (just as I received them). Bought for a job, used a couple, the rest are for your new project. Online, these are less than $1.00 apiece, but the shipping and minimum orders will set you back at least $7.00 additional. These are sold with FREE SHIPPING! From the National Semiconductor spec .pdf: "General Description The LM2940C positive voltage regulator features the ability to source 1A of output current with a dropout voltage of typically 0.5V and a maximum of 1V over the entire temperature range. Furthermore, a quiescent current reduction circuit has been included which reduces the ground current when the differential between the input voltage and the output voltage exceeds approximately 3V. The quiescent current with 1A of output current and an input output differential of 5V is therefore only 30 mA. Higher quiescent currents only exist when the regulator is in the dropout mode (VIN – VOUT
