The Magnesium Ribbon 12.5G/Roll is a silver-colored, highly reactive metal element that reacts steadily with diluted acids and emits hydrogen gas when heated in air. It can be ignited using a butane lighter or Bunsen burner, and burns slowly down the length of the strand, leaving behind a flaky white residue of Magnesium Oxide. The product is composed of 99% Magnesium, 1% Zinc & Lead, with dimensions of 4" x 4" x .1" and a weight of .08 lb. At Scientific Equipment of Houston, we also accept international orders, although we limit our responsibility for international orders to US and Canadian borders. Once a package has left the United States, it is the customer's responsibility to receive the package, and we are not responsible for any customs duties or hold-ups. If a product arrives defective or broken, we will promptly replace or refund the item at the buyer's choice, and we require pictures of the product and packaging to hold our employees or couriers accountable and improve customer satisfaction. If the buyer purchases multiple items and one or more of the items are broken or defective, we will promptly replace the broken/defective items or refund any or all of the items returned upon receipt of the returned items.
