  This is a professionally made, high-sensitivity fluxgate magnetometer capable of detecting and monitoring the smallest changes in the earth’s magnetic field. It is used primarily for the purposes of monitoring solar flare and geomagnetic storm activity. This magnetometer utilizes the FGM-3 and FGM3-h sensors and ASIC’s developed by Speake & Co. with resolutions of 2 nT and 0.75 nT respectively. The magnetometer is complete with the following components: ·         1 SCL006-FGMX Receiving Station with Bluetooth ·         1 Receiving Station Enclosure ·         1 FGM-3 standard sensitivity sensor ·         1 FGM-3h high sensitivity sensor ·         2 CAT5 15 meter cables ·         9 to 12VDC 500mA wall adapter ·         1 USB PC Interface cable ·         1 RJ45 Active Coupler ·         Software on CDROM
