The Magtek 22310102 Excella boasts of a high resolution of 200 dpi and can scale to 100 dpi. It can capture black and white/grayscale images as standard, and it has image compression capabilities such as CCITT G4 or JPEG. The image files that it can save include TIFF 6.0, although other formats can be made available. The Magtek 22310102 Excella is a double-sided check reader that can read E13B and CMC7 MICR fonts with ease. In a single pass, it captures the front and back image of the check. Additionally, it comes equipped with an endorsement printer that can print a horizontal message on the back of the check. This message can be programmable and has a message height of 1/8" consisting of 12 pixels. With a manual feed bypass, you can feed a single check easily. On the other hand, its automatic feeder has a capacity of up to 70 documents. The output hopper/stacker has enough room for up to 70 documents too. Moreover, it has a USB 2.0, which is compatible with USB 1.1, and Ethernet 100Base-T. Its auxiliary interface is an RS-232 serial. The Magtek 22310102 Excella also comes with smart cable management.
