It is currently et for single sided printing. Catalog states the 156A MkIII capitalizes on the reliability of air controls and disc feeding. Versatility, precision registration and high output are combined with high quality gravure printing. The 156A MkIII is capable of handling a wide range of tablet and capsule sizes and shapes. The machine features carefully designed rotary feed discs, each with dual carrier pockets that deliver the product to the print station at high rates. Imprinting rates of up to 200,000 units per hour are attainable depending on the fill rate, disc speed and product size. The 156A MkIII accommodates capsule sizes #5 through #00 and a great variety of tablet shapes and sizes. Markem's dual gravure printing system prints on two sides, delivering twice the information - product names, logos - per cycle. Currently set up for single sided printing only. You get clear, concise prints every time. Printing controls are consolidated on a single panel at the front of the machine. Product handling is controlled with air jets.
