This listing is for TWO five frame mating nucs, shipped together. This budget friendly five frame hive can do many different jobs in your apiary. Some great examples would be as a mating nuc, a cell builder, or maybe as a swarm trap. This fully assembled pine hive kit features one deep five frame hive body, five frames, flat lid, screened bottom, landing board, steel entrance disk, and swarm lure. The hive body has box joints and handles on all four side. In order to offer a great price on these, the hive body will be budget grade. You should expect to see flaws that do not affect the functional use of the hive. All of the frames are wooden, four have a Ritecell starter strip and one has a full Ritecell foundation. The bottom of the hive is screened and can be closed off with cardboard or sticky board. The top is a solid pine board that offers a front and side overhang. The galvanized steel entrance disk can be adjusted to fully open, reduced, queen excluder, or vented/closed. A swarm lure and swarm trap instructions are included with this kit as a bonus.
