Built into standard DB9 hood. Pcb size only 17mmX16mm Rx,Tx,RTS,CTS,Vcc, Gnd connections Rx-Yellow Tx-Blue RTS-Green CTS-White VCC-Red GND-Black You can use just the Rx ,Tx connections only or Rx,Tx,RTS,CTS. Some applications only require Rx,Tx NOTE:- Rx and Tx on this lead means the connection on the target board. Sometimes the target board may be labelled this way too. If it does not work one way then reverse the connections and try again. Please check diagram. You will need to supply 3volt to 5.5volt DC to the Red and Black wires, this can come from the Target board or some external source. You can also use a battery Also connect the Black wire GND to the Target board GND This lead will plug straight into the back of your PC or Laptop. This lead has a Female 9pin D-sub connector The 9pin D-sub connector on you PC/Laptop will be Male. This cable has also been successfully used by buyers to de-brick Seagate Hard drives. ?
