MaxNC-10 CNC Mini Milling Machine I recently purchased this MaxNC 10 CNC Mill and replaced all of the electronics and control box with new electronics. That includes new a new 4 axis stepper motor driver, 24-30V Meanwell power supply (with power factor correction for no noise), 12V secondary supply (for fans and Mach3 spindle relay), and 5 axis Mach 3 parallel port control card (with small 5v supply for the logic power) I have also installed homing switches on all 3 axis to enable homing and easy repeatability of jobs. The control box is set up with a 4 axis stepper motor driver and has another plug so you can easily add a 4th axis and plug it in without having to modify the control box etc. The control box is wired with a emergency stop button (absolutely necessary with CNC machines) and the spindle motor control has also been retrofitted into the new box. I had the control box mounted on the wall above the machine but it can be installed on the back of the machine like the original control box (which by the way will be included even though it is basically useless unless you have a MS-DOS computer, which you shouldn't unless you still live in the 1990s) The stepper motor drivers are rated to 2.5A each and are actively cooled with heatsinks and dual 60mm fans to keep it cool. These drivers are digital and have a potentiometer to adjust current so if you ever decide to upgrade the stepper motors these drivers will still work perfectly! I am including a nearly brand new set of 19 ER16 collets (only 1 was used) and it has every ER16 collet you can buy. Also included is the aluminum plate you see in the photos, with two T-slot nuts, and two bolts with washers to hold the plate/other parts down. More bolts can be found at any hardware store and more T-nuts can be purchased or made with this machine if you desire! This machine can be controlled by Mach3 and the spindle motor can even be turned on and off with it as well. As the spindle motor is an AC/DC type motor, you cannot control the spindle speed with Mach3, however you can enable and disable it easily with a g-code command, or I can leave it disconnected from the relay so you can use the potentiometer with on/off detent. For the advertised purchased price I am also including a Dell E510 Tower with Windows XP and Mach3 loaded, configured, and calibrated. This will also include a 17" LCD monitor, and parallel cable. If you do not want/need the computer/monitor, I can obviously discount the price, but I can still include the parallel cable and can include a PCI parallel port card that is compatible with Mach3, as well as the Mach3 XML configuration file so you can simply place the file in the Mach3 folder and everything will be configured automatically. Some computers do not have compatible parallel ports and this card is guaranteed to be compatible with any computer with a PCI port and with Mach3 as it has been tested. The card is brand new never used in the original box as I only purchased it in case my computer's parallel port slot was not compatible, but it was. The control card can also be easily set up with a Probe/Digitizer to enable automated finding of edges, centers of holes, and 3D digitizing of objects to generate a 3D model of the object. You can see in this video the machine jogging/running a cut circle pocket wizard from Mach3: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y12pUR1BCHk I prefer local pickup for this item and it is located in Los Angeles, CA. If the computer is not needed/wanted the shipping costs will also decrease. Please be aware that even with the seemingly high $150 shipping charge, with the computer, monitor, machine, control box, original control box, etc it will cost me more than the $150 in simply shipping charges, not including handling/packaging costs so I hope you can understand. Feel free to ask me with any questions you may have about this machine.
