Maxx Digital CCTV BNC Ground Loop Isolator The BNC cure for ground loops and electromagnetic interference! Maxx Digital Ground Loop Isolators reduce "ground loop interference" with CCTV video signals. They have BNC male to BNC female connectors and mini 18cm cables on both sides. They're passive so require no power. They cure video-signal distortion caused by video ground loops and electromagnetic interference. The simple and cheap solution to eliminate picture tearing, cross-talk and rolling. Maxx Digital Ground Loop Isolators reduce ground loop interference with CCTV video signals. They're used where a CCTV video signal is transmitted between two points with a difference in ground potential. Differences in ground potentials are typically caused by unbalanced power line loads. Ground loop interference is caused by electromagnetic interference (EMI). When there's a large difference in ground potentials between two points, EMI may occur and the peak-to-peak magnitude may vary from zero volts to more than ten volts. Ground Loop Isolators help prevent EMI. They reduce the interference between the camera and the DVR by producing equal and opposite magnetic fields that cancel one another. Maxx Digital Ground Loop Isolators have built-in wave rejection, TVS (transient voltage suppressors) for surge protection, interference rejection and noise filters. These devices will prevent ‘ghosting’ in the video feed by absorbing and eliminating the reflected video ghost signal. They also restore the characteristic impedance of the downstream video signal to prevent secondary ghosting in the image. We’d suggest installing these devices on every installation and on every camera, even where no ground loops exist, and you’ll be surprised how much it improves the picture quality.
