The Mazzer Mini E Burr Grinder (color Silver) is the ideal choice for an espresso enthusiast’s home, a busy cafe or a sophisticated office. The Mazzer Mini E is an electronic coffee grinder with automatic single and double dosage. It grinds on demand, so every dose of coffee is fresh. The Grinder is available in two versions: Mazzer Mini E Type A Type A has a touch panel on top of the dosing hopper with simple buttons to press for a single or double dose of espresso. The volume of each dose can be calibrated by turning the adjuster located just below the coffee dispenser with a regular flat bladed screw driver. Mazzer Mini E Type B Type B has a simple switch located directly below the dosing dispenser to activate grinding. You simply click the button once for a single shot or twice to grind for a double shot. The solid specifications of the Mazzer Mini E Burr Grinder include infinite grind adjustments, powerful 250-watt motor, 64mm high-grade tempered steel burrs and a bean hopper with large capacity. Dose adjustment system (4 grams to 19 grams) allows the user to change the amount of ground coffee dispensed into the filter handle. Features Type A or Type B The only difference between the Type A and Type B versions of the Mazzer Mini Electronic is the placement of the activation button. Type A has three buttons on the top of the dosing funnel. One is for single shots, one is for doubles and one is manual dosing. Type B has a single a button that is pressed using the portafilter. You press once for a single, twice consecutively for a double or hold it in for continuous grinding. Construction The Mazzer Mini E is a very sturdy machine with a solid cast metal body and is designed to last longer. The unit measures 17"H x 6 1/4"W x 13 1/4"D and weighs 22.5 lbs. Stepless Grind Settings The Mazzer Mini E is capable of grinding form very fine (for Turkish coffee or espresso) to very coarse (for French press or drip coffee makers). With stepless micrometrical grinding adjustment system, you can adjust the grind as little or as much as you want with ease. Heavy-duty Motor and Grinding Burrs The unit is powered by a 250 watt motor, which spins the grinding burrs at 1600 RPM. The motor is shock-mounted, meaning there will be no vibration. It also has a thermal overload switch that will automatically shut down the motor if it begins to overheat. The Mazzer Mini E features 64mm commercial grade steel burrs to crush the large quantities of coffee quicker while imparting very little heat to the freshly ground coffee, thereby preserving its true flavor. Large Capacity Bean Hopper It includes a large bean hopper made of clear plastic with a black plastic lid, so that your coffee beans stay fresh as they are protected from the ambient air. It can hold up to 1.3 lbs of beans and an integrated trap door allows for easy changing of beans without emptying. Accessories The Mazzer Mini E comes with a detailed instruction manual and a stainless steel grounds tray.
