Melles Griot 5mW HeNe Laser 05-LHP-111. I do not know if it still lights.  I removed this from my FTIR in 1996 and it sat on the shelf since, with shutter closed. Has a 9/86 date on it. I removed and replaced it because the pure quality of the light, although brilliant crimson, had degraded to the point where it could not be used as a internal reference in an FTIR. But for an Optics or Photonics application where you are establishing perpendicularity of free space elements, etc, it would work fine. IF it lights.
