Self-Contained Membrane Nitrogen Generator Parker Balston N2-30NA Less expensive and more convenient than nitrogen cylinders and Dewars. Ideal for all derivatives of ESi and APCi Modes of LC/MS. Includes special vortex extended life, oil-less compressor. Unlike PSA and Hosmer technologies, membrane will not suppress. Corona needle discharge. The Parker Balston N2-30NA is a self-contained membrane nitrogen generator that produces phthalate-free pure LC/MS grade nitrogen with pressures above 100 psig. Nitrogen is produced by utilizing a combination of compressor, filtration, and membrane separation technologies. A single reliable vortex compressor filtered by high efficiency coalescing filters remove all contaminants down to 0.01 micron. Hollow fiber membranes subsequently separate the clean air into a concentrated nitrogen stream and an oxygen enriched permeate stream, which is vented from the system. The combination of these technologies produces a continuous on-demand supply of pure nitrogen.
