At Auction is a Mercury Model 1000 Dynamic Mutual Conductance Tube Tester. This is a beautiful unit that has been reconditioned and calibrated per the Original Calibration Instructions (included). The case has been refinished from the old black “Wallpaper” to a nice Mahogany Stained finish. New feet and brass fittings were used. The tester comes with ALL the original documents, including the latest (1970) Tube Chart. It will check modern tubes such as Compactrons and Nuvistors, but does not check old 4 and 5 pin tubes. The Mutual Conductance tester provides a very accurate picture of the tubes quality; much more than testers that just show if the tube is good or bad. The pictures show a couple of tubes being tested and one is exactly on the specs and the other checks about 10% better than specs. The tester will be double boxed for shipping. Please wait for an invoice as the shipping calculator is not correct. I will ship via the best method and costs are based on weight , distance and shipper. I charge only the actual costs.
