Here is a Mercury Model 990 vacuum tube tester.  It has been repaired, cleaned, calibrated and fully tested.  Everything works.  Included with the tester is a copy of the 990 manuals.  You get a tube test chart and a Service Manual.  This unit is small and easily fits in a gig bag. This is a relatively "modern" tester and will test most post WW2 consumer vacuum tubes including Radio, TV, Color TV, Ham, Audio, Rock n' Roll and even Compactron power sweep tubes as used in RF linear amps.  It will even test Magnoval, Decal, 5-pin Nuvistor and 10-pin miniature tubes.  Note that it does not have a Loktal socket and can't easily test those tubes. Overall it is in good condition, the sockets and switches are good, the handle is nice the grid cap is fine and the meter is clear and works very smoothly.  Please see the pictures for details.  Some of the pictures show tubes under test.  The tester correctly identifies the good tube and the weak tube.  The 7-pin miniature tube is also leaky and the tester correctly lights up its SHORTS/LEAKAGE indicator. NOTE: Tubes under test are for demo only and are not included in this sale. Please message me if you have questions.
