Removing the bracket will help lower the dimensional weight that freight companies use and allow the unit to ship cheaper at a class 85.** The power cord was cut off of this conveyor close to the motor. The food plant this unit comes from had some temp. workers go into the storage warehouse. They were supposed to remove motors, controls, etc. from some scrap equipment on one side of the warehouse. Well, these guys did not listen and removed items from some of the good equipment (including the electrical cord that was on this conveyor.)
