You are bidding on a new Microcut made Micro Track unit. This is NOT a Microcut or Microcut Jr.. This unit does NOT have any control of your cutter's backguage. This unit gives you a digital display of your backguage position. (It will tell you the length of your cut.) If you have a paper cutter that used to give you a digital display of your cut length (but no longer does) or you want to upgrade an older paper cutter so it will give you a digital display of the cut length instead of reading the position on a tape then this unit will fix you up. This unit is new but the box has been opened and has been in my storage for some time. It does include everything that came in the box. One 110 volt AC outlet (normal wall outlet) is all you need to power it. This unit was originally intended to be installed on a Challenge cutter but could be adapted to many other cutters with a little creative engineering. If you wanted to install it on a large cutter you would have more challenges than if your cutter is under 32 inches because of the diameter of the leadscrew (shaft that moves the backguage). This is just a guess but I would guess that 70% of shop owners with a little mechanical ability could install this unit themselves. The other 30% might need to have a cutter tech. or similar, install it. The book pretty well covers all steps involved in the installation and includes pictures. Microcut does tend to assume a little to much when it comes to a person's understanding of their terms but it is pretty straightforward. I am offering free freight to the continental USA and will be happy to obtain a price on freight to any other country. I accept PayPal, company check, US Postal money order and bank to bank wire transfer but I need to warn you that if you pay by check your shipment could be delayed by two or three weeks.
