MICROWAVE SINTERING UNIT FEATURES: Large 35.5” dia. x 35” deep microwave (MW) applicator chamber with a protective R/F gasket door seal. The 6 kW MW generator includes waveguides, tuner and vacuum-to-atmosphere quarts barrier seal. For convenience, once adjusted for a specific heating target, the MW generator power level is varied by a front mounted controller. Microwave applicator is designed to operate at normal atmosphere, or under inert gas, or under vacuum. The MW applicator chamber is fitted with a diffusion type vacuum pump allowing MW operation under 10-4 to 10-6 torr level of vacuum.
