MILL CRAFT Cast Iron MITER VISE Picture Frame Gluing Woodworking Clamp MILLCRAFT  Cast iron miter vise in good used condition. Simply marked: MILL CRAFT. I bought the item form a man that was using it form gluing and nailing wood picture frames. Has a small stamped (serial?) number: 001?. Base measures slightly over 12" in diameter. Will clamp stock up to 4 1/2 " wide. Clamping blocks are 3 1/2 " inches wide and 5/16" tall. Lowering the outside arm (egg-shaped handle) causes the clamp block to push forward, securely clamping the stock in place. Pins provide positive stops to cut pieces for 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, & 12 sided frames. Pin stops are working and  holding for different angles of cut or gluing. Everything moves smoothly & locks in place.Item was being used for gluing & nailing picture frames. Thus there is a lot of glue & wood filler on the black plastic of the lockdown handles. It does flake off but could probably be cleaned with Goo-Gone of solvent if you wish.  Was probably used with a miter saw at one time as there is a saw cut in center aluminum channel. Weighs 36 lbs ~ 41 lbs packed.  Item is in AS IS ~ AS FOUND Condition ~ NO RETURNS.    What you see is what you get.  Please see ALL photos as they are part of the description.
