Mimaki JV3 / JV4 Main HDC Board Repair services ****BE SURE TO ASK US FOR THE PDF REPAIR FORM THAT MUST BE INCLUDED WHEN SENDING IN BOARDS FOR REPAIR**** THIS IS FOR THE REPAIR OF YOUR BOARD Is your JV3/JV4 Main or HDC board damaged? Instead of paying $2000+ for a new board, we can REPAIR yours for much less. Note that the picture displayed here is a JV3 board and and JV4 HDC board will look different (but we fix all). If one or more colors are COMPLETELY not printing at all, the machine doesn't turn on but you see the green light, your Main board may be damaged. In addition, it may have affected your slider board too (which we also fix). A Main board can be damaged by the following: 1) printhead that has shorted 2) bad printhead cable (look at the cable ends to see if there's delamination or damage 3) ink that has accidentally gone into the printhead connector 4) bad Slider board that has shorted and damaged the Main board downline 5) removing any cables inside the printer while the power cord is connected. All repairs come with a 30 day warranty. If after connecting the board and it shorts out again, it probably means that the associated print head is bad which will need to be replaced. You can then resend the board to us and we will repair the board again for no charge EXCEPT for return shipping back to you. If you need to utilize the warranty, we allow only 2 additional reworks. If you need more than that, then there will be an additional charge. Repairs generally take 24-48 hours after receipt of the board To proceed with a repair, please bid on this auction and make payment. Make sure you select the appropriate RETURN shipping method in your paypal payment. Then carefully package up your MAIN board (preferably in antistatic bagging) and bubble protection inside the box. PLEASE do not send your 1394/Firewire card and I/F connector which is the smaller square board that sits on top of the Main board. On the inside of the box print a confirmation of your paypal payment AND a short note describing the problems you are having.
