Manufacturer's Description: The Marcy-McCool 9 1/2 K Disc Pulverizer is designed for grinding virtually any material and is especially recommended for assay offices, metallurgical, soil and other commercial/industrial laboratories. It can reduce 120 lbs. of quartz type material from 1/4" feed to 100 mesh in one hour. Grinding is performed between two 9-1/2" diameter heat-treated, cast iron discs. During operation, one disc remains stationary while the other revolves eccentrically as the feed material passes between the discs.
