My testing went as follows: I plugged the machine in and it turned on. It lit up and I was able to see that it projected on the screen the dust on the glass where the microfiche goes. High and low light switch worked. I was able to select the number of prints I wanted and clear it out. I put one piece of paper in the cassette and closed it up. I noted that there was toner dust in the edge of the cassette. I checked and found that there is a toner cartridge in place. I noted that there is toner on the inside of the toner cartridge outer door. I noted that a panel near the latter door is popped out a little (see picture), I think from handling. I think that's just cosmetic. I pressed the green button, the lamp turned off, and the printer went into action and a paper jam occured. The display toggles between 2 and P and the light on the display didn't come back on. I pulled out the lamp drawer and put it back in, but the lamp didn't come back on, so I suspect that is part of the process. I didn't go further with my testing than that. Physically, it is in average condition, with normal cosmetic wear from use in an office enviornment. It seems to me that this is a working machine that mainly needs a good cleaning and maintenance. I see no evidence that it needs any major repairs. It may need a new lamp or other minor normal maintenance part.
