Matchlessantiques is offering collectors this MINTY 6" REED 4C MACHINIST, MACHANICS, BLACKSMITH SWIVEL BENCH VISE. This vise was made between the early 40s and the 1960s. The Reed vises of this era were among the highest quality vises ever built. This vise is very close to new and I believe that it still has some of the original paint on it. Everything on this vise is just like new. The vise will change directions with less than 1/4 turn of the handle. The nut and pin are absolutely solid. The screw is perfect, only a little bit of old grease in a couple places. The hand is perfectly straight and the there's no wear in the slot the handle slides through. By far one if the finest condition vintage vises you'll ever find. It opens and closes easily and swivels and locks just as it should. The jaws are all original and look brand new.
