For sale is a new Florida Pneumatic Vacuum switch. This can be used in a system requiring a 4.5-5 Hg pressure switch. Model 35 vacuum switches are designed to protect electric motor driven pumps that are being used to move liquid. The model 35 pump is installed in the suction line of the system and the double pole electrical contacts are wired in series with the driving pump. When liquid is being pumped the vacuum that exists in the suction side of the system holds the switch contacts closed and when the liquid is exhausted the contacts break and the pump is turned off so as not to be used dry. When the reservoir is full again the restart switch is held down momentarily to create the vacuum again.
