We start with a welded steel hoistway, wrap it in drywall for fire rating, and assemble all the elevator components inside, including the car, rails, jacks, doors, and entrances. Everything is pre-wired, making the on-site installation quick and simple. With our optional modular machine room and its pre-wired controller and pre-installed power unit, installation takes just 3 days from set to ready-to-inspect. For retrofit projects this is an innovative solution that eliminates the need to re-engineer a building. For modular construction, we'll have the elevator installed faster than you can say "turnkey." Hundreds of our elevators dot the country from coast to coast. We meet all A17.1/B44 codes (2004-2013 depending on state requirements), all ADA requirements, all state-specific extras, and even tough specs like UFGS, NAVFAC and VA. And we can customize any cab interior you like. We can stack multiple towers if you need more than 4 floors, and our elevators can go on either the inside or outside of the building.
