Knob turns smoothly, and needle seems to float as needed (not stuck). I am unsure how to test this unit. *Please note - This tool was used in my father's construction company during his 30+ years in this line of business. Other than what is described above I can not make any guarantees on the functionality of this tool. These tools that I have listed have been in storage for a least a few years and may or may not need upgrades, calibration, new seals, etc. All tools are sold as is.
