This listing is for a NanoMuscle Toy Development Kit (TDK) with controller, four rotary actuators, cables, documentation and CDROM. The actuators are extremely quiet, nearly silent, position controlled depending on mode selected, slider position, and how/if interfaced through RC servo or auxiliary interfaces. Software can be modified (source provided) to develop own applications. The controller was tested with the two cabled actuators (RS-70 and RS-125), the controller LEDs and rotary actuators all operated properly as described in user guide. This is a complete NanoMuscle Toy Development Kit (TDK) which contains the following items: 1. NanoMuscle Controller designed to drive two NanoMuscles 2. Three cables to connect the Controller to the NanoMuscles (2 connected to NanoMuscles) 3. Two Rotary RS-70-CE and two Rotary RS-125-CE NanoMuscles (4 total) 4. CD containing documentation, NanoMuscle data sheets, application notes and source code for the microcontroller used in the NanoMuscle Controller 5. Batteries for the NanoMuscle Controller (3-AA) 6. TDK User Guide version 1.2 7. Data sheets for NanoMuscles included The NanoMuscle Controller board has external power supply connection points (optional), and two sets of the following connectors for each NanoMuscle interface: NanoMuscle interface connector, RC servo interface connector, auxiliary/encoder interface connector. The TDK uses two microcontrollers, one per NanoMuscle channel, a socketed Microchip PIC16F628, source code provided on CD, developed in C language, using the Hi-Tech C Compiler (compiler not included). Software development tools are not included. The socketed microcontrollers allow devices with different programs to be installed and tested, or as an emulator interface. From NanoMuscle TDK User Guide- "The Toy Development Kit (TDK) is designed to allow you to quickly start working with NanoMuscles and specifically to help you accelerate the building of prototype NanoMuscle powered applications. The key features of the Development Kit are: Ability to easily connect and control two NanoMuscles concurrently; Five internal control modes: Push button control, Speed control of continuous cycle, Position control, RC servo control, and auto cycle position control. Each NanoMuscle controller is designed to operate with any of the 6-pin consumer NanoMuscles designed for 3-6V operation. The current parts supported by the controller are: Rotary Actuator RS-70-CE 1130 and Rotary Actuator RS-125-CE 1130. It is possible to use the controller with other NanoMuscles- please refer to Appendix A for information on how to do this." The kit will be padded and outer boxed, shipped by USPS Priority Mail tracking, insured. The tracking # will be entered into ebay and paypal after shipment.
