The Nasco Advanced Airway Larry Torso with Defibrillation Features is a high-quality training manikin for practicing various medical procedures. This manikin was purchased for $1975 just three years ago and has been gently used, making it in excellent condition without any defects. It comes with an instruction manual and a padded cardboard box for easy carrying. This model is mounted on a CPARLENEВ® basic torso, allowing for both CPR and airway management procedures to be practiced. With its slightly anterior position, swelling tongue, and vocal cords, the Advanced вЂњAirway LarryвЂќ is an ideal trainer for introductory and advanced training. However, this model does not include a simulator or an AED, but it does have four EKG leads connected to enhance the training experience. The Life/formВ® Advanced вЂњAirway LarryвЂќ Airway Management Trainer is an ideal tool for practicing defibrillation techniques. It allows you to use standard defibrillators, whether manual, automatic, or semi-automatic. For added safety, an internal load box absorbs the full strength of every shock, protecting students and equipment. The manikin is also compatible with all standard brands and types of defibrillators, monitors, and patient simulators. It features four ECG sites and two defibrillation sites, enabling you to perform manual, semi-automatic, and automatic defibrillation. This airway management trainer also simulates non-anesthetized patients for practicing intubation, ventilation, suction, and CPR techniques. It has realistic anatomy and landmarks, including teeth, tongue, oral and nasal pharynx, larynx, epiglottis, arytenoids false cords, true vocal cords, trachea, lungs, esophagus, and stomach. You can practice oral, digital, and nasal intubation, as well as E.T., E.O.A., P.T.L., L.M.A., E.G.T.A., CombitubeВ®, and King System insertion. Applying pressure to the cricoid and thyroid cartilage changes the position of the trachea and closes the esophagus, enabling realistic practice of the Sellick maneuver. You can also manually feel the carotid pulse.
