This is a Nasco Life/form Ostomy Care Simulator - Model No. LF00906U, serial no. LF906-3609. Simulator is in very good condition - I do not know if it has ever been used, it has been in storage. It comes with all original accessories: Two 2-oz. syringes, Bag of simulated stool, Latex glove, and Tube of K-Y Jelly - all of these items are still sealed and unused. It also comes with all original paperwork including instruction booklet and (best of all) a genuine Nasco carrying box that is specially made for this particular simulator. This would be perfect for a homecare nurse or CNA for patient teaching purposes, a physicians office for demonstration to patients and families, in a patients home for ostomy care practice, a healthcare training / teaching school, etc. Manufacturers description is as follows: "The Life/form Ostomy Care Simulator is designed to help introduce the essentials of abdominal ostomy care to patients, students, and professionals. External and internal anatomy has been carefully simulated to offer a very realistic tactile experience, as well as lifelike functions. Dilation of the stomas can be demonstrated and practiced. Application of postoperative and permanent ostomy bags can be demonstrated and practiced. The colostomy can be used to demonstrate irrigation."
